Most of my career has been spent as an independent consultant, author and lecturer, with extensive experience in practice, and stints in industry and academia.
At LifeLearn, Inc. I was the Vice-President of Veterinary Strategy. In this role, I was the strategic leader for this global technology and education company, involved in identifying opportunities for growth and solidifying position as a dominant force in the animal health industry.
Prior to this, I worked at Zoetis as Veterinary Specialty Director, responsible for discerning the future needs of the profession, and assuring the company would be positioned as a solutions provider for these issues with both its products and services. In this capacity I worked with cross-functional teams across the company, and well as creating resources that could be used by the sales force to meet their sales objectives.
My career history also includes being the Director of Veterinary Business Solutions at Zoetis, where I was responsible for introducing business services as new offerings for the company, apart from pharmaceuticals. In different capacities, I also supported corporate accounts, key accounts, and specialty accounts, primarily as a professional liaison and recognized expert in both medicine and business.
Prior to joining Zoetis, I was Dermatology Chief at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as consulting and lecturing globally through my own consulting firms. Before that, I was a clinician in both specialty and primary-care practice. I bring a unique perspective to situations in being a recognized expert in both medicine and business management.
