Career History

Most of my career has been spent as an independent consultant, author and lecturer, with extensive experience in practice, and stints in industry and academia.

My career history also includes being Director of Veterinary Business Solutions at Zoetis, and then Veterinary Specialty Director, where I was responsible for supporting the profession, primarily as a professional liaison and recognized expert in both medicine and business.

Prior to joining Zoetis, I was Dermatology Chief at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, as well as consulting and lecturing globally through my own consulting firms. Before that, I was a clinician in both specialty and primary-care practice. I bring a unique perspective to situations in being a recognized expert in both medicine and business management.
